Thank you for your interest in the Blue Mountain Storm Track Club. Our 2025 season is underway, and we are so thrilled that we are registered to capacity. We couldn't provide this program without the support of the Walla Walla High School Track & Field Team. Thank you for supporting future track & field athletes!
While track can work with many other activities from musical lessons to art class to other sports, baseball seems to be the exception. Historically, those families who sign up and try to juggle track and baseball end up having to choose one or the other. As the mother of a baseball player, I'm right there with you--lacrosse and baseball also don't play well together!
The Blue Mountain Storm Track Club encourages youth throughout the Walla Walla Valley to engage with track & field. Ages 5 to 12 are instructed on many events through demonstration, practice, and competition.
Each season, our club competes against other regional youth track clubs, including those in Pendleton and Hermiston. We also host a meet or two, offering a fun, local option to invite friends and family. Track meets are optional, so don't worry if your busy schedule limits participation.
Youth track offers a subset of traditional track & field events. The throwing events use lighter implements for safety and emphasis on technique. The running events are grouped by age. Everyone loves the long jump--sand!
" I think everyone should try track. It's a great way to get exercise and make friends at the same time."
"Track was so fun! I loved all the racing and relays. The coaches were super sweet and helpful!"
"I love track because you get to try lots of different events and find what you like best."
